We are looking for a Controller to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other departments to create and manage the company's budget, as well as prepare financial forecasts and projections
• Prepare the company's financial statements, such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
• Provide information about the company's financial performance and help stakeholders make informed decisions
• Manage the company's audits, both internal and external. This includes working with auditors to provide necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Identify and manage financial risks, such as fraud, error, and noncompliance
• Implement internal controls and developing policies and procedures to mitigate risks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance regulations
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Experience with team management, including hiring, training, and supervising staff
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
