Our client is a 200+ bed hospital that utilizes the most sophisticated technologies to put them ahead of the curve and competition.

The Controller manages all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for the hospital and related entities with the goal of producing timely, accurate and actionable financial information for use of management.

The controller ensures the adequate controls are in place to minimize the risk of materials misstatements in financial statements; including compliance with SOX. Provides leadership and oversight of clerical and professional staff. The controller manages monthly financial close and reconciliation cycle to ensure accuracy and timely completion. Manages year-end financial statement audit and budgets. Provides regular financial and statistical data analysis to management. The controller must have appropriate level understanding, awareness and compliance with all applicable SOX, joint commission, CMS, state and local agency laws, internal/external regulations, guidelines, policies, procedures and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field – MBA preferred.
• CPA Highly Preferred.
• 5+ years hospital experience.
• Meditech experience.
