Controller

Our nonprofit client with an incredible mission is seeking a hybrid Controller (two days in office). This role reports to a fantastic CFO and has a tenured team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the month-end close and production of financial statements
• Act as the point of contact for external auditors
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants (Staff, AP and AR)
• Set up/document processes and procedures and create efficiencies
• High volume accounting operations
• Be a problem solver and skilled in systems integration
• Maintain internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business
• Nonprofit and grants experience
• GAAP knowledge
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
• Relationship builder
