Controller

Our client is looking for a Controller with a heavy FP&A background to manage a small team. This person would need to roll up their sleeves but also have a strategy/big picture mindset. Must be a self starter and a fixer. The company is at an infliction point for growth, and there is lots of opportunity!

Essential Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare financial forecasts to guide the organization’s financial planning.
• Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring the organization maintains a strong financial position.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and management.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional certification such as CFRE, CFA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications a bonus
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and best practices
• Excellent analytical skills with thorough knowledge of accounting principles
• A strong leader that embodies collaborative relationship building and management skills

Up to $175k plus benefits.
