Controller

Our Portland based client is looking for a non-profit leader! The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who has experience as a nonprofit Controller. This role manages and mentors a team. You will be responsible for the US GAAP financial statements, maintaining/creating accounting procedures, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the month-end close and production of financial statements
• Act as the point of contact for external auditors
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants
• Review AP and payroll and perform bank reconciliations
• Set up/document processes and procedures and create efficiencies
• Perform cash management and manage grants
• Be a problem solver and skilled in systems integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related experience
• Nonprofit and grants experience
• GAAP knowledge
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills

Pay up to $120k.
