About the Role
We’re seeking a highly capable, hands-on Controller to join our growing investment firm with a clear path to step into the CFO/COO role in the near term. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to build systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fund accounting, reporting, treasury, and operations (this is a hands-on role)
• Oversee execution and operational processes for investments across public and private markets
• Manage NAV calculations, capital calls, waterfalls, investor reporting, and audits
• Build and optimize firm infrastructure, systems, and workflows as we scale
• Collaborate with the investment team to ensure financial and operational excellence
• Manage key relationships with auditors, fund administrators, legal, and counterparties

Ideal Candidate Has A CPA With

• 2+ years at a Big 4 firm (Associate 2 or higher), with Alternatives experience
• Strong understanding of alternative investments, including public market strategies
• A hands-on, no-task-too-small attitude and a drive to build from scratch
