Our client, an established and growing manufacturer east of Raleigh, is looking for an experienced Controller to join their team. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting function and will report to the VP, Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee all general accounting duties
• Prepare month-end close including journal entries, accounts reconciliations, and trial balance review
• Prepare monthly internal financial statements
• Work alongside and support external auditors
• Support ERP system implementation
• Review and analyze manufacturing variances as well as ad hoc analysis
• Review and analyze AR and AP postings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
• Progressive accounting and supervisory experience
• Strong accounting knowledge
• Advanced Excel and ERP skills
• Manufacturing experience preferred
