Controller

Carolina PRG is currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a Manufacturing client in the Lincolnton, NC area. The Controller will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial information as well as providing strategic financial support to the CFO and the Department staff in alignment with the organization's mission and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Coaching and development of accounting team.
• Oversee all accounting operations.
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Manage all financial data for accurate reporting.
• Monitor and develop KPI's.
• Prep and coordinate financial statements.
• Manage relationships with external accounting partners.
• Manage budgeting function.
• Provide continuous improvement efforts for accounting operations.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of accounting experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Professional accreditations such as CPA and/or CMA required.
• Backgrounds in Manufacturing highly preferred
• Understanding and proficiency in GAAP.
• Expertise in financial data analysis.
