Position Summary Magellan Aerospace Mississauga has an exciting opening for a highly technical and experienced Contract Services Delivery Coordinator (CSDC). In this position the successful candidate will focus on managing and addressing service delivery issues and/or inquiries that the F404 Technical Authority (TA) may have with respect to the full scope of work covered in Magellan's Performance Work Statement (PWS) to our customer. Based out of the NDHQ in Gatineau area, the individual will also take responsibility in providing Liaison Engineering Services relating to the F404-GE-400 engine and the CF-18’s Secondary Power System (SPS) programs.
Candidate Profile The successful candidate in this role will bring an understanding of DND’s Technical Airworthiness program (or civilian equivalent), and experience working with DMS, DRMIS, CBMSS, IETM, etc.
Be readily available to the F404 TA to respond to any questions/queries they may have with respect to service delivery issues as outlined in the contract PWS section 3.4.1.
Promptly mobilize Magellan Aerospace Mississauga's resources to make timely decisions and coordinate effective support to the Weapon Systems Manager (WSM).
Communicate to the facility’s Material Control Manager any concerns that the F404 TA may have with respect to service delivery issues.
Provide timely and accurate system expertise to the F404 TA, Magellan's Managers, and maintenance support organizations as specified in PWS section 4.5.4.
Provide expert advice in dealing with technical messages, publications and drawings received from RCAF operating units, contractors and other countries.
Fill in and support the Liaison Engineering Representative (LER) as needed.
Provide technical briefings to Main Operating Bases (MOB) and/or MAM Depot personnel as required.
Participate in Aircraft investigations/issues and advise on potential operational problems.
Support other non-contractual divisional level objectives.
4- year college degree or equivalent.
5-10 years related experience, and minimum 3 years experience with hands-on aircraft maintenance.
Maintenance supervision or engineering support of the F404-GE-400/-402 engine in the last 10 years.
