The Opportunity
As a Contract Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in building out the company’s presence in the rapidly growing Dallas, TX market. This role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts while driving new business development, identifying bid opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring project success from planning through completion.
You’ll be supported by a national team and modern tech stack, including Dynamics 365 and Comsense (or similar CPQ platforms), and have access to the tools and internal support needed to thrive in a performance-driven, high-growth environment.
What You’ll Do

Maintain regular contact with assigned customers to monitor ongoing projects and identify upcoming opportunities.

Cultivate new business in assigned territories by building relationships and proactively sourcing leads.

Obtain construction plans and specifications for upcoming bids; manage and participate in the take-off and estimating process.

Review and submit accurate, timely bids in alignment with both customer expectations and company requirements.

Negotiate and close awarded projects; manage them through proactive communication, vendor coordination, and internal collaboration.

Build strong vendor relationships to improve pricing, product availability, and technical support.

Review job costing, billing, and gross margins to ensure project profitability.

Attend project meetings, visit jobsites as needed, and resolve on-site or customer-related issues.

Provide mentorship and support to detailers, estimators, and junior team members when needed.

Stay current on product knowledge, code requirements, and industry trends via continuing education (DHI or similar).

Participate in sales strategy sessions and contribute to market growth planning.
Qualifications

3–7+ years of sales experience in commercial doors, frames, and hardware (DFH) or closely related construction materials.

Proven success managing complex sales/project cycles from bid to completion.

Familiarity with estimating platforms (Comsense, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, etc.).

Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and customer-first approach.
