Contract Recruiter


Our Client is seeking an experienced temporary Technical Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for a variety of positions, with heavy recruiting for positions in the Information Technology field. In this role, the recruiter will partner with the HRBP/Recruiter to drive the recruitment and talent acquisition life cycle to assist us in achieving our hiring goals. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and tenacious enough to keep up with the pace of recruiting in a fast-moving, candidate-driven market. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and keep up to date with the latest technological developments that influence our hiring needs.


  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements to source the most suitable candidates
  • Consult with hiring managers on overall hiring strategies and tailor your approach accordingly
  • Write and post job advertisements on job boards, social media, and other relevant channels
  • Source, screen, and compile a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical and nontechnical roles
  • Source potential candidates on niche platforms
  • Interview candidates and assist hiring managers with various interviewing methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system to ensure a solid pipeline of qualified candidates and ensure candidate data is kept updated
  • Network with potential candidates to promote our employer brand and ensure we attract the best professionals
  • Keep up to date with new technological trends to form strategic conversations with managers on future hiring needs
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates

  • Participate in various recruitment events such as job fairs and conferences as needed

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience


  • 5+ years of experience with full life cycle recruiting as a technical recruiter or role recruiting for a variety of positions to include positions in the IT field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of talent acquisition and recruiting best practices
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in an environment of multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality as appropriate
  • Solid understanding of various federal and local laws pertaining to hiring and employment
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, video, in-person)
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
