Contract Project Manager
Our client, a leader in the loan servicing industry is currently looking for a Contract Project Manager.
Key Accountabilities / Activities:
Primarily this role is responsible for managing the completion of large-scale complex projects according to the Project Management Methodology. Projects will encompass web development, data warehouse, client regulatory and internal process improvement changes within a .NET and SQL server environment as well as high impact IT Operations infrastructure changes.
Summary of Accountabilities
· Works with the client/sponsor to develop detailed business cases outlining the project, background and objectives, milestones, work effort/resource requirements and associated cost-benefit analysis.
· Prepares work breakdown structure and overall project plan assigning work to team members including business Functional Unit Representatives, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Development and IT Operations.
· Ensures that projects are completed according to project plan; identifies new priorities and takes appropriate actions and if necessary, reassigns project priorities to maintain the project schedule. This includes coordinating and managing the implementation of assigned work packages or project resources, both internal and external.
· Manages client relationships and provides specialized support, primarily as it relates to the project management process.
Requirements:
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification.
· 3-5 years related work experience in a project management/work package lead role
