Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP Operations for a third party logistics provider specializing in warehousing.
Responsible for leading cross functional project teams to deliver multiple simultaneous projects that span across several business and technology areas. You will be expected to effectively manage resources, schedule, and quality of deliverables through the full project life cycle (preparation, design, deployment). Will act as the overall project manager to support onboarding of new customers in one or multiple warehouses. Confirming the scope of work, customer requirements, and project expectations. Developing the project timeline and managing allocation of resources required for project. Challenge is to train, coach, inspire, and implement Lean Six Sigma. Primary focus areas are visual management, standard work, systematic waste reduction, and A3 problem solving with a scope of 100+ employees.

Background Required:
  • Third party logistics Continuous Improvement/Project Management (5 years)
  • Experience with implementing Lean Six Sigma culture and tools
  • Quantitative gap analysis
  • Lead and execute the CI strategy to deliver quantified value to Customers
  • Apply broad range of advanced improvement tools (PDCA, DMAIC, 5S, SPC, MSA, Regression, DOE, etc.)
  • Value Stream mapping
  • Analytical Skills (i.e. data collection, analysis, design, recommendation, root cause investigation)
  • Strong team, program, and project management background with ability to oversee multiple projects
  • Interpretation of analytical and modeling results to develop solutions and presentations
  • Large scale and complex implementations and automation
  • Capacity modeling for labor planning
  • Supply Chain technology (WMS)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance, Accounting/Finance, or Industrial Engineering)
  • Residence: Fontana, CA
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • MBA or Master’s Degree
  • Retail, Industrial, Automotive, Manufacturing sector experience
  • Familiarity with lean
  • Bilingual
