WYMAR Federal Credit Union has retained Cornerstone Resources to conduct the search for a Consumer Loan Officer. The Consumer Loan Officer is responsible for assisting members throughout the consumer lending process by evaluating loan applications, underwriting consumer loans, analyzing creditworthiness, and recommending appropriate lending solutions. This role originates, underwrites, processes, and closes a variety of consumer loans, including auto, personal, recreational vehicle, and unsecured loans while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience making sound underwriting decisions, assessing risk, and exercising lending authority within established guidelines. The Consumer Loan Officer provides exceptional member service by educating members on lending products, gathering required documentation, and working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver a smooth, timely loan experience while helping members achieve their financial goals.
