Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for support of the chosen Construction, Advanced Work Packaging and Commissioning software at the regional and project level.
  • Aligns with the application BAO’s, PDO Automation, Digital Technologies (IT) groups to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Works closely with the Regional and Project level Automation Managers to ensure seamless setup and support of construction and commissioning tools.
  • Performs data integrity audits to ensure compliance with Air Products data standards, approved conventions, and terminology.
  • Maintains compliance with technology licensing requirements.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of EPC systems in engineering design, document management, subcontract management, Construction Management, Work Packaging, and commissioning
  • Strong working knowledge of applications used on large EPC projects, e.g., Hexagon SmartPlant tools, P6, Smart Completions, WorkPacks, ConstructSim, Ecosys, OpenText, Kahua, Prolog, Procore, Autodesk Build or similar.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong facilitative skills, including presenting to cross cultures and geographies.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced in a functional matrix organization.
  • Critically evaluate information captured from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
  • Ability to decompose high-level information into practical details.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new application requirements.

As our Construction and Commissioning Systems Specialist, you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience (minimum).
  • Experience on very large-scale EPC, Oil, and Gas, Industrial Gases, or Petrochemical projects
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong experience in construction systems architecture and work process.
  • Knowledge of the information flow between the automation tools.
  • Ability to bring teams together to achieve project targets and goals.
