We’re expanding and have an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Superintendent to join our Self-Perform Concrete Construction team. This role focuses on managing concrete construction projects, ensuring excellence from initiation to completion.
About The Role
As a Superintendent, you will provide overall leadership, communication, coordination, and planning to ensure successful project execution. You will schedule, coordinate and supervise subcontractors’ field co-workers, which may involve supervising one or more trades, (i.e. laborers, carpenters, etc.) May coordinate several foremen in the case of a large-scale performance.

Your responsibilities in this role:
- Planning and supervising craft professionals, including determining logistics plan, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, time entry, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked
- Along with the Project Manager, maintain communication with all co-workers and project stakeholders to ensure our work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule
- Oversee all project safety in conjunction with the Safety Department and perform documented safety inspections no less than weekly
- Complete daily reports describing complete activities, critical conversation and issues, weather conditions, etc.
- Proactively manage and hold all subcontractors accountable to all agreements
- Monitor all project quality; ensure all inspections and pre-pour checklists are performed
- May need to work in a dual role as a craft foreman or work with tools when requested depending on company workload, project size and other job requirements
What you need to qualify:
- 8-10 years of relative job experience in the construction industry
- 2-year construction degree or equivalent combinations of related technical training/experience
- Proven ability to manage, coach, train, and mentor others
- Understanding construction scheduling and cost control
- Highly collaborative work style with excellent communication skills
