Construction Staff Accountant -

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide financial statements, prepare taxes and other financial statements as needed
  • Reconcile monthly bank accounts as well as credit accounts
  • Provide timely billing to customers
  • Ability to enter invoices into Accounting Software as well as reconcile accounts monthly
  • Provide weekly job cost reporting to Senior Management
  • Set up new vendor accounts as required
  • Cross training will also be mandatory for Human Resources, Payroll and Purchasing responsibilities


  • 4 Year degree in Accounting preferred
  • Previous experience in Construction Industry
  • Fundamental knowledge of Sage Accounting Software
  • Solid computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Work effectively with both customers and internal Project Management team and represent Appellation Construction Services in a professional manner at all times
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
