Job Description
Construction Staff Accountant -
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide financial statements, prepare taxes and other financial statements as needed
- Reconcile monthly bank accounts as well as credit accounts
- Provide timely billing to customers
- Ability to enter invoices into Accounting Software as well as reconcile accounts monthly
- Provide weekly job cost reporting to Senior Management
- Set up new vendor accounts as required
- Cross training will also be mandatory for Human Resources, Payroll and Purchasing responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 4 Year degree in Accounting preferred
- Previous experience in Construction Industry
- Fundamental knowledge of Sage Accounting Software
- Solid computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Work effectively with both customers and internal Project Management team and represent Appellation Construction Services in a professional manner at all times
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
