The key position, working directly under company ownership, would be charged with taking leadership on project management efforts of field construction personnel; essentially from handoff of bid/estimating to takeoff and vertical construction efforts.

Most projects include aspects of expansion, TI and renovation/restoration, though they may be ground up efforts as well. While they often are from plan, some can be from informal conversations and discussions that require conceptualized thinking without formal direction. The projects range from high end hotels and resort complexes to historic restoration initiatives.

In addition to hands on oversight, the position also serves as the vital office connect and support to project managers and field personnel on all endeavors. Additionally, participating in business development support thru client relationship management and job walks, etc.

Projects are generally located in the domestic United State with some travel, but can on rare occasion include engagements internationally (primarily Caribbean). They tend to range from smaller restoration/expansion undertakings to large multi-million-dollar developments.

The right match to the opportunity would be an individual with background in Construction, Engineering, Landscape Architecture or related field. Hotel or Resort construction, or understanding of those types of venue components, would be desired, but key is understanding the basics or building construction and being able to accurately manage work including materials, labor, MEP, earthwork and other elements. With primary focus on vertical. An individual that can apply their knowledge in these areas to the hotel domain should be able to make a transition to the organization.

Daily work activities will include reading and interpreting construction blueprints and plans and then oversight of building efforts, work force coordination, scheduling, logistics, equipment and materials. At any given time, this might include a handful to ten active projects.
