Accounting Manager – Construction & Project Revenue
Who:
A rapidly growing private construction company seeking a hands-on accounting leader with strong technical and project-based accounting skills.
What:
Lead month-end close, ASC 606 project revenue, purchase order and inventory accounting, and process/policy development.

Salary:
$125,000–$135,000 base salary plus bonus.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an Accounting Manager with experience in construction or project-based industries to lead revenue and operational accounting functions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with ASC 606, managing project milestone and progress billing, and building scalable accounting processes as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the month-end close process and prepare accurate financial reports

Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition for construction projects

Manage purchase order tracking and inventory accounting

Implement and refine accounting policies and controls

Partner with project managers to align financial tracking with operational goals

Support audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
Qualifications:

5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based industries

Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and project accounting principles

Experience with purchase order and inventory systems

Proven ability to develop and improve accounting processes

CPA a plus, but not required
