Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Field Manager to oversee projects in the Gulf Shores, AL to Troy, AL markets.

Position Overview: The Construction Field Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising construction activities at various project sites within the Gulf Shores, AL to Troy, AL markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects. This role requires frequent travel between project sites within the designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on project status, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor on-site construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently within the designated area.
