Our esteemed client is seeking a Construction Department Manager to join their dynamic team. The Construction Department Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring adherence to stringent design criteria, and delivering innovative solutions to meet client objectives effectively.

Focus:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to manage and oversee construction projects, including public, agency, and private developments.
- Utilize advanced civil engineering expertise to provide construction observation, project management, and field services.
- Supervise and lead a team of construction professionals, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to quality standards.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to overcome project complexities and ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain open and effective communication channels with team members, clients, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited engineering program recognized by EAC/ABET, CEAB, or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in civil engineering or construction engineering, registered in Nebraska.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Construction Observation, Construction Project Management, or Engineering field services.
- Familiarity with the inner workings of cities and other governmental agencies in the Omaha metro area.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, coupled with business development experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Public Improvement Plan layouts, design processes and procedures, and subdivision developments and site planning.
