Senior Software Architect (Web Content Management Systems)
Job Description
Location: Hybrid (National Capital Region)
Compensation: Expected hourly rate of $60.00 - $85.00 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, security clearance, and final contract pricing.
Scope of Work / Tasks
As a Senior Software Architect specializing in Enterprise Web Content Management Systems, you will support the architecture, administration, modernization, and enhancement of a large-scale enterprise web content management environment. Responsibilities include:
- Install, configure, and administer the OpenText (formerly Interwoven) TeamSite platform.
- Architect and design enterprise web-based components based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop and implement administration tools that support the enterprise web content management environment.
- Lead the upgrade of the TeamSite platform to the latest vendor-supported version.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues affecting websites and enterprise applications.
- Produce technical documentation in accordance with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Provide ongoing project status updates and technical reporting to project leadership.
- Develop documented solution designs, source code, and technical documentation to support ongoing operations.
- Support the maintenance and evolution of an enterprise platform supporting over 200 websites.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure web content management solutions.
Qualifications
Required
Education
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience in:
- Troubleshooting and reproducing complex technical issues experienced by users.
- Designing, configuring, and deploying server-based file systems and enterprise applications.
- Researching and resolving complex technical problems.
- Recommending and implementing complex security requirements.
- Planning or participating in department-wide system upgrades.
Candidates must also demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of development experience within the last five (5) years using:
- OpenText (formerly Interwoven) TeamSite Version 16 or higher
- OpenDeploy Version 16 or higher
- Workflow Modeler Version 16 or higher
Certification
- Valid Interwoven TeamSite Administrator Certification.
