Job Description & Requirements:

Composite Structures technician with a minimum of 1 year composites and 2 years light structural experience to assist with the tear down and repair of aircraft inlets and cowlings to include mostly cutting, lay-out, riveting and composite metal bonding. Minimal structural tooling required.

• 90°Die Grinder with 2” Pad and Cut-Off Wheel
• Rivet Gun
• Air Nozzle
• Scribe ( Straight / 90°)
• Flashlight
• Scissors
• Utility Knife
• 6” and 12” Scales ( Needs to read in .1” increments )
• Screwdrivers (Standard & Phillips)
• Socket/Ratchet Set with Extensions ( 1/4” Drive, 1/4”-3/4”, 12 Point )
• Combination Wrenches ( 1/4” – 3/4” )
• Pliers / Dykes / Needle Nose / Knip-X / Hi-Loc Removal
• Pin Punch & Chisels ( Brass and Steel )
• Allen Wrenches ( Standard Only )
• Putty Knife ( Strong enough for hammer use )
• Ball Peen Hammer
• Tin Snips
• Files ( Bastard / Half Round / Vixon )
• Inspection Mirror
• Mechanist Square
• Hearing Protection ( Earmuffs )
• Safety glasses with side shields
