Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role involves ensuring that production runs smoothly, monitoring equipment performance, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Pay:
$17/hr + shift premium

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Setup: Prepare and set up machinery according to specifications and production requirements.
  • Operation: Operate machinery and equipment efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Monitoring: Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and any maintenance performed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with different types of machinery and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise and machinery.
