The Opportunity
We are seeking a Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a very unique luxury residential community. This role combines property operations, financial management, resident relations, and team leadership with a focus on maintaining a well-run community and delivering a positive resident experience.
Role Overview
The Community Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the property, including resident satisfaction, financial results, maintenance coordination, leasing, and compliance. This individual will lead the on-site team, work closely with vendors and internal partners, and ensure the community operates efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily property operations and ensure consistent service to residents
- Manage rent collection, delinquency, budgets, expenses, and financial reporting
- Coordinate maintenance activities, property inspections, and vendor performance
- Lead, support, and develop on-site team members
- Manage resident concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Support leasing and marketing efforts to maintain occupancy
- Maintain accurate property records and operational documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable housing laws, regulations, and company policies
- Monitor property conditions and address operational or maintenance issues as they arise
- Respond to emergencies and urgent property needs when necessary
Experience & Qualifications
Required:
- Previous property or community management experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and property-level financial management
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of housing regulations and property management best practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve problems effectively
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain required real estate licensure
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
