What You’ll Do

  • Trade with impact: Buy and sell poultry/meat commodities on the spot market, directly influencing margins and supply availability.

  • Own the relationships: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with brokers, suppliers, and industrial customers that drive recurring business.

  • Create opportunity: Spot-sell excess product and structure annual contracts to maximize value and reduce volatility.

  • Fuel the plants: Ensure raw materials are available across multiple facilities — your work keeps production moving.

  • Bring insights to the table: Provide market intelligence and strategies that inform leadership and sharpen trading edge.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of commodity trading/sales experience (protein industry preferred).

  • Deep knowledge of poultry/meat markets, pricing, and industry dynamics.

  • A proven track record in high-volume, fast-paced trading environments.

  • Relationship-builder and skilled negotiator with a “closer’s” mindset.

  • Highly motivated, thrives under pressure, and energized by competitive deal-making.
