Commissioning Engineer

Our client, a prominent player in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled Commission Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in commissioning processes, particularly in mission-critical projects. This role focuses on ensuring the successful implementation and validation of mechanical and electrical systems in high-stakes environments.

Focus:

  • Lead and manage the commissioning process for complex construction projects, ensuring all systems and components are installed, tested, and functioning according to design specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop and execute commissioning plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections and tests of mechanical and electrical systems in mission-critical facilities.
  • Utilize commissioning software and data analysis tools to monitor project progress and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Document all commissioning activities, including test results and any corrective actions taken.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in commissioning processes.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in commissioning, with a strong emphasis on mission-critical projects.
  • Certification as a Commissioning Process Professional (CCP) or Commissioning Manager (CCM) is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing complex commissioning projects successfully.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems commonly used in mission-critical facilities.
  • Proficiency in commissioning software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
