Commissioning Engineer

Our client, a prominent player in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled Commission Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in commissioning processes, particularly in mission-critical projects. This role focuses on ensuring the successful implementation and validation of mechanical and electrical systems in high-stakes environments.

Focus:

Lead and manage the commissioning process for complex construction projects, ensuring all systems and components are installed, tested, and functioning according to design specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop and execute commissioning plans.
Conduct comprehensive inspections and tests of mechanical and electrical systems in mission-critical facilities.
Utilize commissioning software and data analysis tools to monitor project progress and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
Document all commissioning activities, including test results and any corrective actions taken.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in commissioning processes.

Skill Set:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
8-10 years of experience in commissioning, with a strong emphasis on mission-critical projects.
Certification as a Commissioning Process Professional (CCP) or Commissioning Manager (CCM) is advantageous.
Proven experience in leading and managing complex commissioning projects successfully.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems commonly used in mission-critical facilities.
Proficiency in commissioning software and data analysis tools.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
