Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and bilingual (Spanish and English) Commercial Property Accounting Manager with proven experience in managing commercial leases and financial operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in YARDI, capable of overseeing multiple administrative and financial processes, and ensuring the operational efficiency of our property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rent Roll Management: Administer and analyze rent rolls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- CAM Analysis and Management: Oversee the calculation, billing, and reconciliation of Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges.
- Tenant Collections Supervision: Manage tenant collections, including payment plan establishment and legal proceedings when necessary (e.g., eviction processes).
- Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R): Supervise invoice processing and ensure timely payments and collections.
- Overage Analysis: Monitor tenant sales and handle overage rent calculations.
- Bad Debt Analysis: Conduct reviews of uncollectible accounts and develop strategies to minimize losses.
- Contract Management: Supervise the entry and maintenance of tenant contracts.
- Claims and Adjustments: Analyze claims and process adjustments as needed.
- CRIM Organization and Payments: Ensure accurate organization and timely payment of CRIM obligations.
- Bank Reconciliations: Manage daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Intercompany Rent Management: Handle rent allocations and reconciliations between affiliates.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Advanced proficiency with YARDI software.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience in commercial property management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial operations, including A/P, A/R, CAM, and bank reconciliations.
- Ability to handle sensitive tenant relations and resolve issues professionally.
