Responsibilities will be overall servicing of commercial loan portfolios, processing payments and advancements on lines of credit and loans, perform account maintenance, and process payoffs. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for timely and accurately answering questions and completing incoming customer service requests from internal and external customers
  • Provide answers to more complex Commercial and Consumer Real Estate loan customers regarding loan credit agreement terms.
  • Communicate with lenders and assistants to answer complex questions relating to the Commercial and Commercial Real Estate Loan Portfolio of the bank.
  • Ensure all incoming requests are handled in a timely and manner and according to the banks procedures.
  • Timely check the inbox to handle specialized requests items and complete per service level agreements.
  • Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.
  • Process payment reversals, accrual adjustments, advance requests, payoff and maintenance transactions daily
  • Daily accuracy and timely changing with loan parameters all loan rate indexes associated with all loan portfolio types.
  • Accurately and timely process adjustments for payments when needed
  • Accurately and timely processing of all advance requests for loans including loans tied to a borrowing base.
  • Accurately preparing and timely processing of internal and external partial payoff and payoff requests for Commercial and Commercial Real Estate loan portfolios.
  • Accurately calculate required accrual adjustments for reversal transactions to ensure adjustments are correctly completed.
  • Assist with projects within department as needed as well as cross train in other functions.
  • Produce accurate results and meet deadlines.
  • Complete required post conversion maintenance during conversion weekend.
  • Other Duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent education certificate (GED) required AND
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in customer service related position in a banking environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of servicing Commercial and Commercial Real Estate loan portfolios preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of real estate loan compliance regulations
  • OR Bachelor’s degree AND
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in in working in a loan related position in a banking environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of servicing Commercial and Commercial Real Estate loan portfolios preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting real estate loan officers
  • Minimum of 2 years of real estate loan compliance regulations
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (e.g. create new documents, edit existing files, create tables, sort/filter data, print documents, generate new records, email and calendaring)
  • Basic problem solving and ability to multi –task in a fast pace environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and customer service skills to interact professionally with all levels of management.
  • Verbal communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management and external contacts/clients
  • Written communication skills including grammar, spelling, and composition
  • Ability to work independently with a professional demeanor and be self-motivated with a cooperative attitude.
