SITUATION & JOB/PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Park and Associates is a family owned, boutique insurance company that offers all types of insurance (outside of life and health). They have been in south Florida since 1975 and recently promoted a Commercial Lines Assistant to an Account Manager position and they needing to fill a short-term void to replace her for a few months to get her up and running.

DAY to DAY RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

You will be responsible for working with the Account Manager and helping her with her customers requests which are but not limited to:

· Processing Applications for, changes to, reinstatement of, and cancellation of insurance policies.

· Working on Certificates, Issuing COIs

· reviewing insurance applications to ensure that all questions have been answered, compiling data on insurance policy changes, changing policy records to conform to insured party's specifications, compiling data on lapsed insurance policies to determine automatic reinstatement according to company policies, canceling insurance policies as requested by agents, and verifying the accuracy of insurance company records.


MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • 2-5 most recent years as a Commercial Lines Assistant
  • Experience w/ MAS 360 is a HUGE plus
  • Be in office M-F 8:30-5 w/ 1 hour lunch Break
  • Must have 2-20 or 4-40

3 Month Contract
