Commercial Lines Account Manager
Location: Northfield, NJ
Salary: up to $75,000 + Medical, Dental, Vision, and PTO
License Required: Active NJ Property & Casualty License

Our client, a well-established, family-owned insurance agency with deep roots in South Jersey, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager with experience in condominium associations to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a commercial lines book with a strong concentration in condominium and habitational accounts
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates, policy changes, audits, and day-to-day client servicing
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, boards, property managers, and carriers
  • Provide guidance on coverages including: General Liability, Commercial Property, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, Directors & Officers (D&O), Crime/Fidelity
  • Market accounts and obtain quotes from carriers as needed
  • Prepare proposals, summaries, and renewal presentations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and activity within the agency management system
  • Partner closely with producers and internal staff to ensure exceptional client experience and retention
  • Identify opportunities for additional coverage recommendations and account rounding

Qualifications

  • Active NJ Property & Casualty License required
  • 3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience
  • Condominium, habitational, or real estate-related account experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and policy structure
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office
