We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Lines Account Managers to support our service team for our agency’s commercial accounts. Our Account Manager team plays a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive the service they need.

Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager that is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing exceptional service while overseeing the day-to-day management of policies. This role includes maintaining client relationships, addressing their insurance needs, and ensuring coverage is up-to-date. The Account Manager will work closely with underwriters, carriers, and other team members to ensure the timely and accurate handling of accounts.

Responsibilities

  • To effectively, accurately, and timely manage a book of Insurance business.
  • To grow client loyalty by building positive relationships and excellent service.
  • To handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing and new policies.
  • To maintain understanding markets, appetites, underwriting guidelines, submitting procedures.
  • To review all applications, policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy.
  • To coordinate expiration list with department manager to obtain renewal business information.


Required skills and Qualifications:
  • Active General Lines Property and Casualty license issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance.
  • Continuing education requirements fulfilled to maintain active license status.
  • 2+ years of Commercial Account Manager/CSR experience within an insurance agency.
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance policies and coverages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, EPIC, and Outlook) a plus.
