Location: Boyertown, PA
Schedule: Hybrid – 2 days in office / 3 days remote after onboarding and training
Compensation: $60,000–$75,000, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an established independent insurance agency seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its growing team.

This is a client-facing account management position responsible for maintaining strong relationships with Commercial Lines clients while managing the day-to-day servicing, renewal, and policy administration needs of an assigned book of business.

The position offers a hybrid schedule following onboarding and training and is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional who enjoys managing client relationships while handling the technical aspects of Commercial Lines accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned book of Commercial Lines accounts.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding coverage questions, policy changes, and service needs.

• Manage the renewal process, ensuring policies and documentation are accurate and completed on time.

• Process new accounts, endorsements, policy changes, certificates, and other account requests.

• Review policies, endorsements, and renewal documents for accuracy.

• Prepare applications, proposals, rating, and supporting documentation.

• Communicate with insurance carriers and underwriters regarding coverage, renewals, and account needs.

• Assist with limited remarketing when necessary.

• Identify opportunities to round out existing accounts and place additional coverage for current clients.

• Prepare client invoices when necessary.

• Maintain accurate and complete client records within the agency management system.

• Follow established agency workflows, procedures, and documentation standards.

• Stay current on insurance regulations, carrier requirements, and industry procedures.

• Build strong working relationships with clients, agency colleagues, underwriters, and carrier partners.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience preferred.

• Independent insurance agency or brokerage experience strongly preferred.

• Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license

• Strong working knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages, policies, endorsements, certificates, account servicing, and rating experience preferred.

• Strong client relationship and customer service skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills.

• Comfortable working with agency management systems and carrier technology.

• Ability to independently manage multiple accounts, renewals, and client priorities.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $60k–$75K depending on experience
