We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive/ Team Lead for a growing insurance agency in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles.
The Commercial Lines Account Executive/ Team Lead will oversee the day to day servicing of a commercial lines book of business and nurture and lead a team of account managers
and assistant account managers.
- A valid California P&C license is required for this position
- Minimum of 7+ years’ experience working with commercial lines account management in an independent agency and at least 3+ years growing and managing a team
- Excellent commercial lines coverage knowledge
- Solid experience with new business and renewal marketing & submissions, processing policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits and premium finance
- A desire to share knowledge by working with agency producers to evaluate risks, coverage gaps, losses and meet with clients as needed
- Experience working with all lines of coverage (GL, WC, Property, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, Cyber, Prof Liab, EPLI)
- Well-rounded experience with a generalist book of business (commercial auto/ transportation, construction, manufacturing, healthcare)
- Desire to nurture and grow a team of account managers and assistants
- Proven ability to streamline processes and efficiencies
- Advanced computer skills
