Our client is a 5* ultra luxury boutique resort with +/- 30 units and multiple F&B outlets in the Maldives.
This role will be directly reporting to the General Manager.
For this position, both Expats and Maldivian Nationals are being considered.
Profile
• 5*, high-end luxury and boutique resort experience
• Previous island experience and proven record in leisure sales
• Ability to travel to attend international trade shows and for property sales trips and road shows
• Ability to plan and prioritize work in order to achieve deadlines
• Solid established contacts with international tour operators
• Able to find and develop new potential business sources for specific markets
• Strong analytical and tactical skills
• Result oriented and ability to solicit business to capitalize sales/revenue opportunities
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Wide network of contacts
• Positive attitude
• Strong leadership and team player at the same time
• Result oriented in order to achieve targets
• Able to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent English both oral and written
• Outstanding selling and negotiation skills
• Comprehensive computer skills and computer literacy
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and motivate his/her team
• Capable of adapting to different cultures and island life
• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
• Driven, ambitious, very dynamic
