Our client is a 5* resort with +/- 300 rooms and villas, and a large F&B operation in Maldives.
This role will be directly reporting to the General Manager.
Please note that this position is available for Expats only.
Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in commercial and/or sales & marketing roles within the hospitality industry
• Island and remote location experience is a plus
• Previous #1 experience not a must, also a strong current #2 would be considered
• Solid established contacts with international tour operators
• Result oriented and ability to solicit business to capitalize sales/revenue opportunities
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Familiar with budget, sales reports, target and market segments
• Able to find and develop new potential business sources for specific markets
• Wide network of contacts
• Ability to travel to attend international trade shows and for property sales trips and road shows
• Ability to plan and prioritize work in order to achieve deadlines
• Strong analytical and tactical skills
• Positive attitude
• Result oriented in order to achieve targets
• Able to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent English both oral and written
• Outstanding selling and negotiation skills
• Comprehensive computer skills and computer literacy
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and motivate his/her team
• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
• Good owners-relationship skills
• Young, driven, ambitious, very dynamic
• Strong presence, well presented
• Capable of adapting to different cultures and island life
