They are looking for a Commercial BD Manager who will head the launch of a new product that beats the competitor in cost, efficiency, and time of installation. This person should come with demonstrated success writing spec and calling on commercial plumbing contractors.
What You'll Do

They are looking for a Commercial BD Manager who will head the launch of a new product that beats the competitor in cost, efficiency, and time of installation. This person should come with demonstrated success writing spec and calling on commercial plumbing contractors.
What You'll Do
- Development and execution of short- and long-range strategic plans, working with the VP of Sales, and Regional Managers throughout the United States
- Utilize the company's project tracking tool from beginning stages through award of project
- Provide comprehensive product training to sales associates and external customers
- Attend Industry events such as regional ASPE, ASHRAE & MCA Chapter Meetings
- Conduct Lunch and Learns each month for engineering and contractor firms
- Work closely with the Tech Service team on any specs, quotes, product questions with regards to fusion
- Write the company by name and part numbers into plumbing, mechanical specifications with major engineering firms, and mechanical contracting companies including design-build firms
- Build relationships with mechanical contractors and wholesale sales associates which will drive long term sales and Legend product preferences
- Work with Tech Dept to obtain information on competitive product such as marketed technical information, samples for testing and product development
- Identify target market locations that will make an immediate sales impact and provide opportunities with fusion product sales
- Provide industry knowledge and expertise to build the product line forecast and pipeline strategy
- Act as a technical expert for customers making product recommendations for fusion or other commercial fitting applications where fusion is a great alternative
- 5+ years in the commercial sales arena
- Proficient in all Microsoft apps
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
