About the Bank:

This is a well-capitalized, community-focused commercial bank based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, known for their strong local relationships, highly competitive pricing, and strategic growth goals. As they look to expand their footprint across the DFW and North Texas markets, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Banker to join their team.

Position Overview:

This Commercial Banker will play a critical role in driving loan and deposit growth by sourcing and managing full-wallet commercial banking relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in originating and managing C&I and owner-occupied real estate loans with clients ranging from $5M to $250M in annual revenue.

This is a high-impact role that offers substantial autonomy, strong support, and the opportunity to help shape the direction of the bank’s commercial growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and originate new C&I and owner-occupied real estate lending opportunities, with a primary focus on relationship banking.
  • Cultivate and deepen full banking relationships, including loans, deposits, treasury management, and other financial products.
  • Work with businesses across DFW and North Texas, developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones.
  • Target credit facilities generally up to $20 million, with the ability to structure and participate larger credits as appropriate.
  • Partner with credit and operations teams to ensure high-quality underwriting, documentation, and execution.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings, and the regional economic landscape.
  • Represent the bank in the local business community, attending networking events, client meetings, and community functions.
  • Achieve individual and team growth goals as part of the bank’s broader commercial strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial banking experience, with a strong focus on C&I and owner-occupied real estate lending.
  • Proven ability to bring in and manage full-wallet commercial relationships.
  • Established network within the Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas business community.
  • Solid credit skills and understanding of financial statements and risk assessment.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field (preferred).
