Provide 2nd Line Maintenance Support for CF-188 Generator Converter Unit.

Essential Responsibilities

• Carry out performance tests, preventive/ corrective maintenance and repair of CF-188 Generator Converter Unit.
• Set up and operate test equipment to maintain the GCU.
• Perform maintenance and repair of GCU Test Set and MC-2 Test Stand.
• Prepare and maintain paperwork (including RCAF forms in electronic format) and GCU Records.
• Liaise with DND personnel and in-house resources to support test processes.

Position Requirements

• College Diploma —Aircraft Maintenance (or equivalent) ■
• Minimum 3 years' experience with hands-on maintenance of CF-188 GCU in the last 10 years
• Knowledge of CF-188 GCU and aircraft electrical system.
• Knowledge of CF-188 GCU test equipment.
• Understanding of DND's Technical Airworthiness program and associated requirements.
• Ability to work with electrical equipment, precision measuring instruments, hand tools.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of CF-188 GCU Maintenance Program.
• Level 2 Security Clearance
