Coatings Technical Manager
Job Description:
The Coatings Technical Manager will research and develop new products for coatings applications, provide marketing and technical support to internal and external customers for existing and new products, optimize/reformulate existing product lines for enhancement/new applications, find process efficiencies for coating material runs, and manage batch scale-up at the plant level.
Desired Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of broad industrial experience in research and manufacturing practices specific to the coatings industry. Proven record of product development and product launch to market. Strong market knowledge of coatings industry. Strong analytical skills with strong knowledge of coatings chemistry. This position requires a BS degree in a technical field (chemistry, engineering, polymer science) – supervisory experience and advanced degree preferred. Fluent in the English language with strong written/verbal/presentation skills. Approximately 25% travel is required.
