Cloud Lead

This is a start up company with state of the art innovative technology. This is a fast-paced start up environment.

This position is responsible for building and maintaining our client's serverless infrastructure (as code) built-on top of AWS.

In addition the position is responsible for creating, deploying and monitoring identity, storage, and computational systems across AWS. Experience with DDB, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, Kinesis Video Streams, IOT, Cognito and TimeStream and SageMaker preferred.


Work Plan:
- deploy and test current CF stacks
- create internal aws organizations to segment development, beta, and prod environments
- review and improve iot provisioning plan
- review and extend IOT message topics
- update KVS to keep video stream online for 90d
- extend KVS storage to archive footage on S3 after 90d
- create S3-IA and Glacier data storage waterfall to lower cost storage every 90d, glacier
- create system wide monitors and performance dashboards
- setup cloud watch alarms and metrics - setup time series storage for device motion data and real-time analytics
- review and improve DDB schema (PK UUID for sharding )
- setup and maintain data lake
- setup and maintain ci/cd pipelines
- create and maintain QCS api unit tests
- review and update AWS Budgets
- monitor and optimize service costs
- setup Region and AZ robustness plans for failover and 7x24 support
*Candidate must have background as an application engineer / architect
