About Advise
At Advise, we are transforming the Consumer Goods industry. Our SaaS solution
provides a fully automated, end-to-end analytics pipeline that turns vast, siloed data
into a single source of truth. We move beyond simple dashboards to deliver actionable,
AI-driven insights that empower CPG brands to make faster, smarter decisions. By
seamlessly integrating data from EPOS, finance, field sales, and more, we give our
clients the clarity to understand not just what happened, but why it happened,
equipping them with a decisive competitive advantage.
The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our core
technical team. This role is central to the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the
Advise platform's infrastructure. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and
maintaining the sophisticated cloud components that power our end-to-end analytics
pipeline. You will ensure our platform, which processes vast, complex datasets, is
robust, secure, and performant for our global clients. This is a unique opportunity to
work at the intersection of cloud engineering, automation, and data analytics, directly
shaping the future of CPG analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will be dynamic and will span several key areas of our platform's
infrastructure and operations:
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain our core
cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, managing Virtual Machines, Azure
Kubernetes Service (AKS), Database Servers, Storage Accounts, and Container
Registries. You will also manage limited resources on AWS;
• Infrastructure Optimization: Take responsibility for the continuous review
and improvement of our cloud architecture, focusing on performance, cost
management, security, and scalability;
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Own and improve our CI/CD processes. You
will manage our build and artifact pipelines using Jenkins and our artifact
repository, supporting both development and production environments.
• Deployment & Automation: Manage the deployment of new builds to
existing customers and the standing up of new customer environments. This
includes the development and maintenance of Helm charts for Kubernetes.
• Observability & Telemetry: Champion the evolution of our observability
stack. You will review and enhance our current logging capabilities (in Graylog)
and build out a comprehensive strategy to integrate metrics, traces, and logs,
providing deep, actionable insights into platform performance and application
health.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Proactively monitor the health and performance of all
customer deployments. You will be responsible for establishing and refining
automated monitoring and alerting processes to ensure high availability and
rapid incident response.
• Resilience & Recovery: Design, implement, and maintain robust disaster
recovery and backup strategies for our critical cloud infrastructure. This
includes performing regular recovery tests to ensure data integrity and
minimize downtime in the event of a major incident;
• Identity & Security: Manage the Advise identity and access management
layer, primarily using Keycloak. You will also oversee our networking
infrastructure, including VPNs, residential proxies, and the management of all
company domains and SSL certificates.
What We're Looking For
• A self-starting and driven individual who is keen to learn and take ownership of
critical infrastructure;
• A highly analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to break down
complex infrastructure challenges into manageable steps;
• Strong foundational knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud platforms,
especially Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with AWS is a significant plus;
• Demonstrable experience with container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes
(K8s) with Helm;
• Proven experience in managing and improving CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
and artifact repositories (e.g., Sonatype Nexus, JFrog);
• A genuine passion for automation and building reliable, scalable systems;
• Familiarity with identity management systems (e.g., Keycloak) and networking
principles (VPNs, SSL, DNS);
• The ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting while also being a
proactive and collaborative team player;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts
clearly to the wider team.
What We Offer
• A pivotal role in a company that is a leader in CPG analytics, trusted by top
international brands;
• High ownership and autonomy over the entire cloud infrastructure. You will be
the key person responsible for the platform's reliability, scalability, and
performance;
• The opportunity to work with a modern tech stack (Azure, Kubernetes, Helm,
Jenkins) and be the driving force behind the infrastructure that powers our
cutting-edge, proprietary GenAI-powered Insight and Action Agents;
• A flexible, supportive, and collaborative work environment with hybrid and
remote working options;
• A clear path for professional development, with opportunities to grow your skills
in advanced Cloud Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevSecOps,
and large-scale platform automation;
• The chance to make a tangible impact, ensuring the core "engine" that drives
a smarter CPG industry is robust, secure, and always available.
