Serenity Med Search is partnering with a respected Rural Health Clinic in California seeking a Clinical Physician (MD or DO) to join its team.

Your Role

As a Clinical Physician, you'll provide comprehensive primary care to patients of the clinic, from routine and preventive care to the evaluation and treatment of more complex medical concerns.

You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and families while working alongside experienced physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, and clinic leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient histories and physical examinations
• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of primary care conditions
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs
• Ordering appropriate laboratory, diagnostic, and ancillary testing
• Providing preventive care and patient education
• Helping patients understand their conditions, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Establishing appropriate follow-up and coordinating ongoing care
• Documenting patient encounters clearly and accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborating with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Providing appropriate supervision and collaboration for APPs when assigned
• Participating in clinic staff meetings and applicable medical staff activities
• Contributing to quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives
• Maintaining continuing medical education and professional licensure requirements
• Following applicable clinical, organizational, state, and federal standards
• Protecting patient confidentiality and maintaining professional standards at all times

You'll also have the support of a collaborative clinical team and work closely with the RHC Medical Director, Clinic Manager, and Advanced Practice Providers.

Depending on your qualifications and the needs of the clinic, the physician may also serve as a Supervising or Collaborating Physician for APPs.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a physician who is clinically capable, compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team.

Someone who can make a sound medical decision, communicate it clearly, and treat every patient with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Current and unrestricted California Physician License
• Current DEA Registration
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS and/or PALS preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Comfortable using an electronic health record
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff
• Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development
• Ability to provide appropriate care to the patient populations served

Additional language skills are a plus.
