Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator-Interim-CA
Job Description
HCT is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at a 250+ bed hospital in California. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- supervising maintenance and dissemination of drug information and cost-effective medication use by consulting with patients and hospital/medical staff, and educating hospital staff,
- assisting staff pharmacists in discharging routine duties,
- directing activities and providing professional technical guidance to pharmacy staff, and
- exercising professional judgment in imparting therapeutic and drug information to patients and health professionals.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor degree in Pharm
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required; residency training preferred; competence in range of treatment for adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics
- License: Licensed to practice in California required
- Certifications: BLS required
- Computer Skills: Working knowledge of clinical information systems (Meditech) preferred
Expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare and rental car during the assignment.

Pay Range: $165,000 - $175,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and location.
