CLINICAL NURSING SUPERVISOR
S. CALIFORNIA
This is a full time , direct hire position Mon - Fri 8:00AM - 4:30PM
$120,000 - $162,000.00 DOE

Ensure the provision of optimum nursing services delivery at the site level through supervision,
implantation, and evaluation of Best Practices and key clinical processes. Provide direction and
supervision for health care employees such as professional nursing and allied health care staff, as well as
overseeing clinical and technical issues. Promotes interdisciplinary and cross-divisional teamwork directed
toward customer satisfaction and improved patient outcomes, emphasizing appropriate nursing services
in support of organizational/national strategic interventions throughout the continuum of the recovery
process.
Supervise and direct key health care clinical processes at the site level in order to
ensure quality care involving nursing, allied health care entities and onsite
medical services.
1. Through individual and team efforts define, refine update and communicate
key clinical processes to health care professionals, support staff and
recovery services staff members.
2. Implement, train, and hold staff accountable to standard work expectations
as outlined by National Nursing Leadership Team and per regulatory
requirements.
3. Monitor the implementation of clinical processes and identify opportunities
for process improvements based on identified trends, rounding, shadowing,
and other opportunities.
4. In partnership with site Leadership Teams, identify, prioritize and charter
process improvements and patient experience initiatives.
5. Build and deliver content of monthly staff meeting agenda and provide
opportunity to attend trainings as practical. Hold staff accountable for
meeting attendance and mandatory education requirements.
6. Ensure representation, integration, response, and communication of health
care topics (i.e., adverse drug events, medication practices issues, incident
reports, etc.) at site level.
7. Provide support for standardization of workflows, training and
implementation of clinical initiatives/changes, and development of nursing
policies/protocols as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, training, licensure, experience, etc.
Associate degree
Current unencumbered RN license in state of practice
Minimum 7 years experience in the following areas: acute care or critical care nursing experience,
nursing leadership and/or addiction related nursing practice.
2 years freedom from chemical use problems (CA, MN, OR and by state regulation)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education, training, licensure, experience, etc.
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (3 years additional experience per 1 year of education) or
Bachelor’s degree in progress
CARN (Certified Addictions Registered Nurse) certification
Public Health Nurse Certification
