Hospital:

• 160+ Bed Acute Care Hospital
• Part of a larger healthcare system
• Joint Commission Gold Seal of accreditation
• What area entail critical care within your hospital, (ie, ICU, ER, etc); ICU and 2-North (which is ICU overflow)
• What are the number beds in each unit under Critical Care? 16 licensed ICU beds
• Number FTE"s in each unit? Approximately 27. However, several vacancies.
• Any managers report up to this position? NO

Responsibilities:

• Planning and organizing of activities and staffing including hiring, disciplining and firing of personnel.
• Participate in the financial management of the department including budgetary planning, equipment/supplies procurement and expense monitoring.
• Develop, review and revise all policies and procedures relevant to the department and coordinate performance improvement activities

Qualifications:

• BSN
• Five plus (3+) years recent management experience in Acute Care Intensive care setting
• One plus (1+) years recent Acute Care Management experience
• Arkansas RN License or eligible
