Clinical Dietitian – Nutrition & Diabetes Education
Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin (Greater Green Bay Area)
Employment Type: Full-Time On-site
Schedule: 32–40 hours per week Monday–Friday
Compensation Range: $26.02 – $39.02 per hour
Final compensation is based on experience, credentials, and other job-related factors.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian with a focus on Nutrition and Diabetes Education to support outpatient nutrition and diabetes education services in the Green Bay area. Under general supervision, this role provides clinical nutrition guidance, patient education, and individualized dietary counseling while working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The position also includes cross-training to provide inpatient nutrition services on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outpatient nutrition counseling and diabetes education

Interpret diet prescriptions and develop individualized nutrition plans

Formulate special diet menus based on patient needs and medical conditions

Educate patients on therapeutic diets, diabetes management, and lifestyle modification

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals

Cross-train to support inpatient clinical nutrition services as needed

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Education & Experience Requirements
Required Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
Preferred Experience:
-
Prior experience in diabetes education within an outpatient setting
Licensure & Certification Requirements
Required / Eligible:
-
Wisconsin-licensed Certified Dietitian or
-
Registered Dietitian (RD) with the American Dietetic Association, or registration-eligible

Must obtain Registered Dietitian credential within 6 months of employment
Additional Requirement:

Outpatient Registered Dietitian must obtain CDCES certification within 24 months of employment
