We are seeking a Client Support Specialist to join our GroupQuest team.

As a Group Benefits Managing General Agent (MGA+), we work in partnership with advisors and insurance carriers to provide full back-office support and services in all aspects of group benefits. Key Responsibilities:

  • MGA Onboards & Offboards
  • Manage and process the submissions of all MGA appointment letters
  • Manage and process the submissions of Agent of Record letters
  • Manage and process the submissions of policy termination letters
  • Pulling and preparing experience reports, including more detailed in-depth chartered reports for larger groups
  • Contact Carriers/Sales Representatives and/or CSRs to discuss and resolve any issues
  • Database contacts and maintenance
  • Email distribution listings
  • Employee data monthly pull
  • New Carrier direct sales
  • Plan summaries
  • Firm and Client Logo uploading
  • License & Errors and Omissions submissions
  • Manage ad hoc requests from advisors within the scope of our value proposition/product offering

To be a successful Client Support Specialist with GroupQuest/People Corporation you will need:

  • Completion of a post-secondary education.
  • 1+ years of experience in data entry or administrative roles preferably in Group Benefits.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including strong written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of group benefit plans and terminology.
  • Excellent reasoning, judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Time-management skills and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
