We are seeking a Client Service Associate (Financial Planning & Analysis/FP&A) to support client relationships, operational workflows, and administrative functions within a fast-growing, tech-forward financial services firm.

This role sits at the center of the FP&A function and partners closely with advisors and internal teams to deliver a high-quality, seamless client experience.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where curiosity, adaptability, and proactive communication are essential.

This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to FP&A, bookkeeping, and business operations, with clear pathways into advisory or advanced operational roles.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional client service through ongoing communication, relationship management, and timely resolution of client requests and inquiries across phone, email, and meetings.
  • Support onboarding of new clients, including account setup, system entry, and communication of firm processes and expectations.
  • Prepare meeting materials, coordinate scheduling, and ensure accurate and up-to-date client records within CRM and project management systems.
  • Manage and execute administrative workflows to support FP&A advisors, ensuring all client deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Oversee client bill pay processes, including reviewing, processing, and tracking payments while maintaining detailed records.
  • Assist with client accounting services, including basic bookkeeping, financial data entry, and support for reporting and filings as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to a strong overall client experience.
  • Support office operations and team initiatives, including cross-functional collaboration and backup support where needed.
  • Work within a technology-forward environment, utilizing modern tools, systems, and emerging automation/AI solutions to support workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a client service, administrative, or operations-focused role.
  • Exposure to bookkeeping, bill pay systems (e.g., Bill.com, Ramp), or financial/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with technology and learning new systems; experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience with CRM or project management tools preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred but not required:
Interest in pursuing professional development or certifications in financial services, accounting, or planning.

Base salary starting approximately $50,000, competitively aligned with experience. Comprehensive benefits package includes employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employee. Unlimited paid time off and paid holidays. Hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
