Job Description
Client Summary:
  • Operates as a national advisory and consulting organization focused on healthcare systems and policy.
  • Works with a broad range of public- and private-sector stakeholders.
  • Provides research, strategic guidance, and technical expertise on complex healthcare challenges.
  • Supports decision-making across programs, operations, and policy initiatives.
  • Maintains a distributed presence to serve clients across the United States.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth across assigned accounts, maintaining deep understanding of client priorities, market dynamics, and competitive context
  • Generate and manage a qualified pipeline, lead pursuits, close deals, and expand relationships into new buying centers and business units
  • Introduce and position new services aligned to client needs, contributing to proposal strategy, pricing, negotiation, and deal profitability
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner, building executive relationships, managing client risk, and leading service recovery efforts as needed
  • Lead regular account reviews, including QBRs, performance updates, and communication of client risks and opportunities to internal leadership
  • Mobilize cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality client outcomes and support account growth
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to ensure consistent execution and strong client experience
  • Provide ongoing account insights and market feedback to leadership, practice leaders, and marketing teams
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client forums, contributing to thought leadership and market visibility
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • 10 or more years of experience in account management, business development, or client leadership within a professional services or consulting environment
  • Proven ability to develop and execute account growth strategies that deliver measurable revenue results
  • Strong understanding of consulting sales processes, including proposal development, pricing strategy, and negotiation
  • Demonstrated success building and sustaining executive-level relationships and managing complex client portfolios
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to assess deal profitability and pricing implications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills across senior stakeholders and internal teams
  • Experience operating in a matrixed environment and mobilizing cross-functional teams to execute account strategies
  • Skilled in strategic planning, pursuit leadership, and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Agile, results-driven mindset with the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce for account management, pipeline tracking, and reporting
